edited December 2024 in Success Stories
7 months ago, I could barely get around the house, I walked around with my calves and my upper legs muscles contently playing war. I baby'd my knees when I messed them up and cannot straighten my left leg at all. So I was reduced to walking with a cane, and sweating just walking around the grocery store. My whole body was out of whack, and I felt well this is life.

Then a month ago I came here, and I started to slowly lose weight but with no exercise, I was still to terrified on what pain I was going to endure. I read other success stories and decided to stop the excuses. So about a week into it, I started walking slowly around the block with my cane and pushing through everything. 2 weeks ago I stopped my cane all together, a hurdle I was so proud of and shared on here. Today I defeated a goal I wanted to accomplish by the end of the summer... I just walked a mile cane free. Thanks to MVP the next success story out of me will be my before and after pictures in January when I have lost 100lbs!!

I just want to thank everyone on this site, because your words of encouragement and motivation, help us all. :flowerforyou:

That is so great :)! Congrats!

I had knee problems also and can say that it will go away once the knees are use to exercise etc. Good luck and keep up the great work!

good for you! I would like to suggest Mueller Max Knee Supports. They are low cost and will help to keep your knees in line. They are adjustable with velcro and easy to put on.
