BOXERS?!

Options
Any fellow competing boxers out there that can give me any tips on good ways to cut a little weight before a fight?? Particularly women fighters? My body just doesn't want to lose those last couple pounds....

    Not a boxer. When I was bodybuilding I would go virtually no sugar, no carbs. I lost weight, but it sucked. Still, if you want to try, you can. Only thing is that boxing is a very cardio sport and I would think you would need the carbs to sustain 'til the end of the match. When my son boxed they always had him load up on carbs a day or two before a match. Also, are you running for endurance? He ran, I think, 10 miles at a time or some unGodly amount. Maybe you could add a mile?
