so i just wanted a bit of help and sorry if this has been posted before! i've been at this for a little while now and am down 36lbs to 144lbs @ 5'11. you'd think i'd look a little bit less fat by now but i don't! (i have a 6 month old son so the jiggle round the middle is probably more than it would be due to that)

I started couch to 5k a while ago and completed so exercise wise i go for a 30 minute run every other day & im also doing 30 day shred for the month of June.once i finish im thinking of joinig a gym to do some strength thanks to everyone on here - but how should I start? I know nothing about strength what-so-ever, but i really want to tighten up.

thanks! hope this all made sense :)

Trainers at the gym will give you an induction showing proper form and will probably be able to write you a programme incorporating resistance training if you tell them your goals.

If you're looking for a book, there are many New Rules of Lifting for Women fans around here, but personally I preferred Smart Girls Do Dumbbells.

But no book is ever a substitute for being shown proper form.
