ahhhh so yesterday i took part in the Race for life! I was supposed to be doing the 10km race, but sadly they had to cancel it because of excessive sand on the promenade. So instead i took part in the 5k, and am transfering to the 10km race next month in the nearest town!
I managed to run the whole course, in a time of 30:31! I'm very proud of myself, and have raised so far £206 for cancer research!

Amazing job, well done, and a great time too!!
  • Very cool. I made it my goal this summer to complete a 5km - I'm only on run #4 since I began but on August 18th I am doing the Color Me Rad 5km Race for the Keep-a-Breast Foundation. I'm pretty excited about it, but did I mention how much I dislike running? I just decided I need to finish what I started about a year ago, and it's definitely growing on me.

What made you decide to complete a race?
