I don't know why but It seems like the last week or so, I've just been so BLAH. It really didn't help that lost 5lbs and then gained them right back... I've been working so hard and seeing little results. Actually lately little to no results. I want so bad to keep going, I'm just having a really hard time getting myself to do it... in the back of my head I hear "what's the point? it's not going to do anything"

Help

That's why were all here...together:drinker: We all often feel this way:tongue: Just take 1 more day at a time. Fat is lessening & Muscle is conquering:laugh: So often times it doesn't show on the scale. But did you feel better when you lost the 5 lbs? Mine weight is very slow coming off but I see a less squishy body now. So stick with it a little longer & you will see & feel better. We can do this:heart::drinker:

Don't loose hope the closer you get to your goal weight the slower the weight will come off as you burn less calaroies when you weigh less. Keep on going and you will get results.

As far as working out is going you may wnat to swith it up a little as your body gets more effeicient the more you do the same workouts. If you have not switched your routine lately your body is buring less calories doing the same thing. You need muscle confusion to shock your body back into calarie burining mode. Try a diferent cardio machine or with weights do different exercises for the same body parts.

    Good Luck

  • DON'T GIVE UP! Look at what you've accomplished so far! You've reached the goals you've set and should be able to reach that 8/28 goal - you're almost there! I understand your frustration. I have the bad habit of weighing myself every morning before doing anything else, and I've been stuck for the last week or so - up a little one day then back down a little but not below what I previously reached. If you still have a pair of jeans from your starting point, take them out and try them on. See, you are making progress. Try changing up your workout a little. I also noticed that adding some honeydew and canteloupe and eliminating my daily banana made a difference. Five pounds is likely water if you've been faithful to your routine. It sucks, but women are like that. Drink more water and watch your salt. DON'T GIVE UP! If you're really frustrated, take a week or two and go for maintenance, then get back on the loss cycle. You CAN do this!:flowerforyou:

Do not give up! You are going to have your bad days and the days that you feel down. Take it one day at a time. Who cares if yesterday was a bad day....today is a whole new day with the opportunity for you to make all new choices.

And by the way, there is a point to you doing this. You want to feel healthy, more confident and you are NOT going to give up when you came this far!

The fact is, when you don't have a lot of weight to lose, your body tries to hold onto the fat as hard as it can. You just have to keep eating right, eating all of your calories, exercising and persisting. Eventually your body will give it up. It's extra important to eat all of your calories the closer you get to your goal.

Eating right and exercising is never in vain. Even if the weight comes off slowly, you're improving your health.

We Can Do This! MFP a Go-Go!!!

We're pretty close in pounds lost & pounds to go.
I've been stuck on 2 lbs. up & down for a month. :grumble:

When I get discouraged I kick myself in the butt and say "HELLO!"
I'm wearing smaller clothes and am holding steady at 30 lbs. down.
