Recovery Week for Insanity?

Hello All,

I'm entering into my Recovery Week with Insanity and since I've actually had a gain in weight.. I'm wondering if it is actually worth the hassle of going through a "slow"week with insanity or just go ahead and power through to Month 2??

Any suggestions or advice is appreciated!!

    I would stick with the recovery week so that you dont burn yourself out and overtrain. This way your muslces will be able to recover and grow. Remember muscle only grows in times of rest!

    The recovery week is not all that easy, but is needed before moving on. All of your weight gain is more than likely water retention as your muscles heal.

    as stated above, recovery week is not easy. it suks, imo, worse then the rest of the videos. lol trust me do it. i skipped it on my second round of insanity and i regret it. i feel like my muscles were more tense
