hey all.
i haven't been on in a while. was here last year after having my son, lost 28 pounds, had another 30 to go but got pregnant with my 4th. finally after 3 boys i have a beautiful healthy baby girl. but god and yummy food left me with 60 pounds to lose a 2nd time around. and i can't find the motivation. every time i get on the scale and it doesn't move i get depressed and feel like i'll be this size forever.
i hate myself like this. i've become a hermit, i won't leave the house, i completely let myself go. i feel like what's the use. looking for tips or stories on how all of you stay motivated, anything is welcome.
looking forward...
thanks.

I feel the same way as you do! Though I haven't had any children, but I have let myself go and I stay in rather then go out because I'm not comfotable in the way I look. I am always negative and eat when I get mad, sad stressed all those gorss emotions but I have decided to take a new leaf on life, my birthday is on Monday, so I have decided to change my life around. I was reading some threads of this from couch to 5k and I'm thinking of doing it! Something else that always makes me feel better is when I but on a little make-up. I always seem to feel prettier that day. I also have little sisters which are a lot younger than I am so I think I'm going to get them to bug me to take them swimming and to go for walks with me.
I hope I can stay positive!0 -
You are the mommy of 4 now, congrats! You didn't say how old the newest baby is, but I would advise you to enjoy her and not rush the skinny jeans! You can start by making sure you are making the healthiest food choices that are available to you. When you get to the point that you are not exhausted and napping when she is, start stretching and maybe walking more through the house. You need to take care of yourself because if you are miserable with the way you look and feel that affects everything in your life. Make the time for you! You are important! I am sure you can find ways to incorporate being mommy and exercising even just a little, go outside and play kick ball with the boys. When the weight starts coming off again (and it will) that will be its own motivation. You will be able to look in the mirror and think "not bad" sooner than you realize!0

We have all been there, what kept me going was the fact that every day is a new one, or any minute is for that matter. It took me almost three years to lose 55lbs. because of not wanting to hang in there. Push yourself for healthier choices, it will become habit. Even after I ate something I was upset about I gave myself the okay that the very next choice was mine and I owned it... Hang in there, if you choose and shop correctly you will feel and then look great!!
