SUGAR!!!

So I am having a terrible time keeping the sugar down and not going over. Just eating a bowl of cereal and 2% milk this morning leaves me with 6g left!!

Any advice on keeping the sugars down? I am nursing a baby, so this is especially hard, because I have a 500 calorie increase to keep up. I have literally been at least doubling the recommended amount of sugars. Any advice on ways to cut back without starving myself or my baby? Seems like everything I choose that has calories has sugar! It has been real work to meet my caloric needs and eat healthy at the same time...

But I'm still motivated. i haven't lost any weight yet, but I am down a pants size in two weeks! I mostly just want to eat, live, and feel healthier.
