Starbucks and Stevia

Have you noticed the Refreshers drinks at Starbucks? They are cans of an energy drink that are in the front case. They have a Raspberry Pomegranate flavor, and I've seen two other flavors available at Tom Thumb. They are only 60 calories and have nothing artificial in them. They are made with the Stevia sweetener.

Today I was in the mood for a Frappacino, but I didn't want all the sugar in it. I didn't want their sugar-free options either that have artificial sweeteners in them, which are cancer causing (IMO). So I brought in my Stevia packet and they added them in for me. Yay! This is so cool. I can have my sweet frap but with nothing artificial and it was delicious. New favorite. Thanks Starbucks. Now if you'll get smart and start offering Stevia as a sweetener alternative, you'll be even better. You obviously are aware of the Stevia product, since you have it in your Refreshers drinks, so get after it! We all want healthier options!

Yes. I have tried the Very Berry Hibiscus in store and then bought a couple of the Strawberry Lemonade in the 12 oz cans. Like them both. And yes I use Stevia for supplementing in my Vitamix vegetable smoothies.
