wore out

Does anyone ever get tired of trying to make new creations to satisfy old habits?
Like pizza for instance... what I wouldnt do for some pizza hut pizza for lunch, instead I try to :"create" something else that will fit into my calories. Im missing the BAD foods atm. ... this too shall pass, but geez. bad food is so darn yummy!

    yes!!!!!!!!!!

I am a HUGE pizza fan. We would eat pizza twice per week on average and when I got a pizza, I had to eat it ALL. Even if I was full halfway through, I'd push to finish. I found out recently that pizza I was eating is 1800 calories!!!!!!!
I have not had a pizza in 2 months! Have you ever made your own pizza? I have been replacing my pizza with this "fake pizza". the dough is made out of cauliflower then I top with healthy toppings. Let me know if you are interested in the recipe

Eat what you want...just in healthy portions. If you deny yourself you will binge later. Best way for me to do this is to plan my food for the day. When I sign on MFP in the morning, I usually know what I'm going to eat for the ENTIRE day - at least up to afternoon snack. I go ahead and fill it in. I know about how many calories I will have left for dinner. If I exercise that day, I get more. I literally use my calories as money - if there is no more money (calories) in the bank, no more eating for the day.

This is an area I struggle with too. What if, instead of ordering a large pizza that you know you are going to try to finish, you order a personal sized pizza? That way you still get to have some pizza (and satisfy that craving, cuz if you don't, you may go a little crazier than you want to), you get to eat the whole thing, but you won't feel so mad at yourself afterwards?

PAPA Murphys Delite Crust beef & very easy on the cheese is my weekly Pizza kick (120 calories a slice Large size). One I don't have to make it all the way from scratch because most of the time I'm in a hurry. You TAKE and BAKE the pizza which is awesome because then I can take it home & top it with the Fat Free Mozzarella so I don't feel like I am missing out on my cheesy. Sometimes I add in some turkey pepperoni when I feel like it or pre-cooked bacon. I eat 3 - 4 pieces on a Saturday but I make sure I go to the gym & work out too. Then I break it up - freeze a couple slices for a wednesday treat and maybe throw some in the fridge for a breakfast boost on Sunday.

A diet without Pizza is a diet I can't stick to, I'm a pizza junkie...

I use a whole wheat boboli crust, make my own sauce with tomato puree, tomato paste, and various spices, use part skim mozzerella, and then whatever toppings I want. It's not the healthiest thing, but it's way more low cal/low sodium than "real," pizza AND it tastes pretty much the same. Yummmmmyyyy.

I make "pizza" for myself and my son when my husband is working. Either 1/2 of a sandwich flat, or a small tortilla, topped with lots of veggies, and a little cheese. Super yummy, and feeds that craving. =)
