My sugar coount is over by 26 and I havent even had dinner yet. I eat the same thing for breakfast and lunch every day and the only things that have suger is a little jelly on my english muffin in the morning , my yogurt w/lunch , and dried cranberrys on my salad.:grumble:
My question is, is it OK to be that much over with the things Im eating?::embarassed: I mean, If I was eating fruit it would be even higher and fruit is good for you:huh: Im very worried about diabetes:sick: It runs in my family and my grandmother had to have a leg amputated becuz of it.:brokenheart:

I think sugar from fruits and milk should not bother us so much as should added sugars and other processed forms should like Chocolates / Yogurts/ cakes and cookies !0

Ok, here is the very short explaination on sugar. there are several types of sugar and yes fruit has sugar but its the way your body processes it, you burn off the sugar found in fruit way faster than other kinds of sugar.
If you are worried about DM then the best thing to watch is carbs, a potato or bread will elevate a blood sugar faster then candy.
Hope it helps

Are you sure there is no added sugar in the english muffin, yogurt or anything else you are eating? Read your ingredients list. Sucrose, sugar, honey, molasses, lactose, cane sugar are all added sugars. You may be able to eat something else that has less sugar in it.
But don't worry about going over when it is due to fruit, veggies, milk those are naturally occuring sugars.
