Hi all,

I have a bunch of weddings this summer and want advice on how to still eat healthy when there is cake, bread, appetizers and goodies in abundance! I eat very healthy and exercise regularly but find that I give in to temptation when the food is in front of me.
I drink lots of water at the wedding but still cave in when I see the food, especially anything sweet :-(

Please help :-D

If it were me, I would work out as usual upon arising. I'd then eat a full "clean" breakfast before going (scrambled egg beaters, a portion of lean meat and some fruit. While at the event, I'd fill up on salads, whatever lean protein they have and water. I don't drink so if I wanted to treat myself, i'd have a couple of the appetizers. I'd stay on the dance floor to avoid grazing lol

how about not worrying and enjoy yourself? Unless your having a wedding every day of the week. I work at weddings. Ive seen it all.

To put it into perspective. to gain one pound you have to consume 3500 cal over your maintenance (so with your 500 cal deficiet youll have to eat 4000 cal OVER what your normally would WITHOUT exercise). for ONE measly little pound!

But if you feel bad, Exercise hard in the morning, eat a light breakfast and then just don't go overboard with the food. but remember to enjoy yourself.
Its a day for fun, and celebration, dont feel guilty about it) a wedding is a wonderful excuse for a day off.
as as they said, pump it out on the dance floor.
