I posted this under my boyfriends account by mistake, sorry. I had him loggin and delete that post just now. Whew. My bad. Here goes, try again! Sorry about that.
Ok here's my story. I did befriend some people on here when I started about a month ago. They were very nice supportive people, but to start off, we have almost nothing in common as far as lifestyle, where they live, the kind of food they eat, etc. The reason I decided to delete that small group was cuz I sense cheating. I do not personally think it's possible to burn over 4,000 calories in under an hour by moving furniture, do you?! lol Sorry dude, that's unrealistic. Maybe it's possible, but I doubt it.
I've become very determined to loose weight. So far it's working! I'm down by 6lbs, and it's been less than a month. I weighed 160 when I began on May 22nd, and now I'm 154. By October I hope to get down to 135. (I'm female, 5'2 1/2, 26 years old)
I would call myself a stay-at-home mom, but I dont have kids. lol I have 2 big dogs I take care of, I cook, I clean and I play video games. Soon I'm going to classes to get my GED. I don't live on the beach, I cant afford any fancy gym memberships, I'm currently unemployed, (I've looked for months and months, it's a b--tch out here)
So I exercise at home playing Just Dance 3, and my heavy cleaning sometimes adds to my workout. (Not much, but it helps) I live in the desert. Tucson, AZ. I hate it here, it's way too hot, it's ugly, and there's very little to do here unless you like to go out and drink. I dont drink, smoke or do drugs. I turned my life around last year by going to a rehab clinic to get off all prescribed painkillers. I had pushy doctors who refused to help me get off addiction to pills, so I just ended it myself. Ever since then I've been a totally different person. I'm motivated, healthier and...thicker. lol When you stop smoking, drinking, etc, you tend to gain weight. I'm a TOMBOY. But I have an absolutely wonderful boyfriend (he might as well be my husband.) He's also dieting on here with me. We both have the same goal: loose weight so we can look badass by Halloween. lol And I intend to do something I've never in my life done before: Wear a bikini. Even just to take a picture.
So if you're like me, you like to play video games, (like I said, I'm a complete geeky girl, but I'm proud of it) you got kids? I dont care! I'm cool with that! I know someday I'll love to have children. But I'm just trying to get my life together.
As far as lifestyle, most of my time is sitting, but I do a vigorous workout once a day, try to for an hour or more. And I used to drink tons of soda, and eat greasy food. I loved all junk, but I've said "bye bye" to all that crap and switched to low calorie stuff, and lots of water. I HATE water, but I know my body needs it. So I'm not just shutting up and drinking it.
I have a dry sense of humor, I love to kid around, but I never put people down. Ever. I know how hard dieting is. I'm a good person with goals and dreams just like you. I would like to find people who have more in common with me so I can communicate with you from time to time. Most of my free time I'm either cleaning, or playing on my PlayStation 3. (You play games? I'll add you if you want, we can play together)
I never felt obese, but I was coming damn close. So now I'm just trying to undergo a physical transformation now that my personality has blossomed into a butterfly, it's my body's turn. Like I said, I'm a gamer. To make this dieting "Quest" more fun and tolerable, I've considered it like a video game challenge. Loosing weight is like leveling up my "character" for the big battle ahead. lol So when I see others kinda cheating on their "scores" I feel like I cant relate to their progress, cuz it really isn't there. I dont cheat cuz I know I'm only cheating myself outta real progress. Ever time I step on that scale, those cheat attempts will just show up on the scale, and the only one who looses is myself. So if you wanna befriend me, let's help each other out and not cheat, but be honest. It's ok, we're all human, I understand our needs. We DO need "cheat days" etc. But I need people who are like me. Thanks for taking your time to read this.
