Easing back into exercise!

Last summer, I stepped in a hole & tore two ligaments and a tendon in my ankle. I recently had surgery to repair everything. My physical therapist released me to ride the stationary bike - no resistance. I rode for 20 minutes on Saturday - at just under a 6 minute mile pace. Today I managed 30 minutes - at just under a 5 minute mile pace! It feels SO good to be back in the gym.
My goal is to complete my 5th half marathon in March 2013. I can do it!!

Good for you!
I started doing Power 90 in February. I was WAY out of shape, and easing into a program that was challenging, but not too demanding was exactly the right move.0 -
I can't wait to get back to my group power classes. Right now I can't do squats or lunges as I have no range of motion. But I'll get there!0
