I know everyone says that. But I'm looking for friends to share ideas with on fitting in exercise to my daily routine.
I'm a 38 (almost39) mother of 2 school aged active kids. I work out of the home and a typical day starts at 5:45 to shower & dress for work, daugther gets on bus at 6:55, drop son off at daycare at 7:05, work from 7:30-4:30 or 5:00. Head in to traffic to pick up son by 5:30, then either pick up daugther if hubby got held up at work, or head home to start dinner. Add in homework, baths and bed time stories and hello 8:00pm. Lets not forget household stuff like clean up after dinner & laundry, which hubby helps with but he also has the yard to take care of.
This morning I started back in Slim in 6 which is did pre-kids when I didn't need to get up so early to get them off to school.
So today I was up at 5:10 to do Start it Up; well my concern is it's on;y 30 minutes. What do I do when I need to move up to Ramp it up which lasts 50 minutes; get up at 4:40??? That just seems nuts.
I try to exercise at nite but by the time the kids are down my motivation is SUNK!!
Any ideas on how to fit in some time would be great.
PS i do try to walk on my lunch hour but my coworkers would appreciate I not run a marathon and come back to the office all sweaty & smelly! yuk!! I just know the walking at lunch is not enough.
