Need to whine for a second

I've been losing weight on steady basis since christmas..i must be taking my measurements wrong because they don't seem to be changing any. Right now i would KILL to be able to spot reduce (yes i know it's not possible and people who think they can irritate me). I swear I've lost nothing in my thighs and calves. To me they look no more toned or thinner. I run like 10 miles a week and I do a variation of jillian michaels workouts and I swear I'm getting no where!!!! Ok rant over thank you

I think you could be on to something. I haven't lost an inch on my waist/belly in like 2 months. I KNOW they are smaller, but I suspect that I did my measurements too snugly before. When I first took my measurements, in some areas the tape was tight enough to make a dent in my belly...now I have the *same* measurements, but the tape is snug, but not distorting--does this make any sense?
I think pictures are the best indicator of progress. Do you have similar pictures taken from when you first began, and recently? I purposely take a picture in the SAME outfit at least every few weeks. Check them out on my profile--it's only about a 10lb difference between the first and the last!0 -
i have some pics but they mostly focus on my stomach. I think I may have done what you did measure wise0

I'll whine with you! I'm the opposite! I'm not losing weight but dropping inches like crazy! I've lost 2 inches off my bust, 4 inches off my waist and 2 inches off my hips and 1.5 inches off my neck and only lost 1.5 pounds! It drives me crazy that dumb scale!0

It is frustrating for sure! I have seen some changes in places that I don't measure--hubby found my hip bones 2 weeks ago...and when I feel the pooch above my c-section scar, it is smaller...I wish I had started measuring my biceps--about a month ago I discovered that I have muscle definition! And I can now SEE my calf muscle flex--definition comes next!
be patient, and before you know it, you will have an "ah ha" moment and see a change in your body!0
