Hi!!! I am trying to lose 25 lbs. i have always been in good shape but sufffered a back injury a few years ago and have really lost it. I am okay now and am working, but just can't seem to get going. I have an extremely physical job but it's not the right type of exercise and I am too exhausted for anything when I get home. My husband as well is trying to lose the same and is also having problems, we have our own biz and work together so his exercise regime is a bout the same. Any tips?

Eat less calories than you burn.

It is hard to make time for yourself, especially when you are busy. However, you NEED to make the commitment to exercise. I'm a single mom the majority of the year (my husband works over 5000kms away) and I am exhausted by the time I get home from work, cook supper, do homework, etc, etc. I really don't want to go and work out, but, I do. I feel better once it's done, I dread doing it. Actually, I HATE it! LOL! Even if you start with giving yourself 10 minutes of your day to go for a walk, you'll learn to look forward to it.

You say you run a business. Do you make appts for your business? How about marking time for yourself and your husband three days a week for exercise? If you pencil in time for yourself, would that make it easier?

As I said, I HATE working out, I'm so tired, I would much rather sit on the couch and veg from my busy day. BUT, I really, really like the benefits! :) Good Luck!
