How do you make cereal bars out of cereal?

I'm leaving on the road for a few days tomorrow and I have no access to a refridgerator, just a tiny cooler, but by the end of the trip the icepacks are no longer cold.

I can't get milk at the station, because they don't sell skim milk, but I had the bright idea to make cereal bars... but I have no clue how?

Anyone got a recipe for how to turn cereal (right now I have Honey Bunches of Oats varities) into cereal bars that don't need refridgerated?
