Mom of two ready to get healthy!

I am a little late to the introducing forum but here I go. About a month ago a close friend posted on facebook that she had lost 15lbs and mentioned this site. I have been wanting to lose weight but had been making excuses etc. Seeing that she had done it and knowing she has had weight struggles in the past I KNEW I could do it as well so I checked out this site and signed up and its been almost 4 weeks and I am going strong! I started out at 225lbs and my goal is to get back down to 175 but anywhere between 175-185 would be great! In the weeks since starting I have lost 5lbs and I am pretty excited to see it staying off! I am working at increasing my exercise. I currently either walk or ride my stationary bike every other day. I am up to 2 miles a walk or 20 minutes of good riding and for me that is a great start. I already can feel a change in my energy and over all just feel better about myself. I have a long way to go but as an early birthday gift I ordered the Fitbit to help with motivation etc. I have two young children and want to get myself in shape so I will be here to see them grow up. I don't want to be the winded fat mom! So here is to losing weight and gaining a healthy life style! :D
