Great exercise on x-trainer

I started my new gym programme last night, given to me by one of the personal trainers in my gym.

One of the exercises she gave me to do is this: (You DON'T need to hold the moving arms for this, hands just on the normal stationary handle)

Resistance at 6/7

Cross trainer - 130-140 RPM to start off with, warm up for about 1 min. Then up RPM to 180-190 and do this for 30secs-1min however long you can. Back down to 130-140. 30secs-1min at this RPM and back up to 180-190. Etc

Do this for 15-20mins.

Holy cow, I was sweating alot, like spin-class sweating. After like 5 mins!!!!!! it was brilliant. According to my HRM, I burnt about 200cals in 15mins. I managed 50 seconds for my longest stint at it. First time doing it though.

Great exercise and so simple. Just thought I would share.
