Last year I started riding an exercise bike for 3 months and lost 40 lbs. I then stalled and switched to p90x and lost no additional weight. While riding the exercise bike I was consuming net 1300. Around October, I quit working out and went to all sugar for food, and gained most of my weight back.
This year I started again competed a round of p90x and currently doing insanity. Increased my calorie intake and weight is coming off sooooooo slow. 24 lbs over 16 weeks. Being 5ft 8" and 34 yrs old, 225, I know I have at least 50 lbs to lose.
I have tried bmr, tdee, eating clean, eating dirty. Water only, no dairy, limiting carbs.
For the past 4 days I cheated like food was going to be discontinued. I gained no weight during this 4 days.
So, the mind is clear and ready to tackle the next 16 weeks. Problem, I have read so much conflicting information I don't know how many calories to consume. Currently, I am set at 2030 and exercise adds 500.
I use a food scale, I wear a polar ft40, I subtract my bmr from hrm calorie burn, I measure and use the scale everyday. Inches are at the same point as 20 lbs lighter last year.
My weight fluctuates I understand that, but I have not seen a new low in weeks. What now?
