I do both, depending on how the day is going / how organised I am feeling. Currently I'm on 1400 calories, so I like to know that I'm going to have enough calories to last me through the day and ensure I get a decent dinner (it is easy to run out I find!), hence I am pre-logging more often when I remember.0

I log in the morning. I log breakfast, lunch and dinner first, and let my macros guide what snacks I'll need to round out the day. I feel like if I eat first, log second, I'll accidentally overeat or wind up with a neglected macro.0
