I've just started working out again and I'm curious how much weight people usually gain when starting out. I was also wondering when I should start seeing weight loss again.

Providing my calories consumed are less than I expend in any day, I get weight loss.
The only time I have put weight on when exercising is if I have eaten and drank more in calories than I have used up, then I have a problem, namely weightgain.
Ensure you log your food and drink very carefully, don't underestimate the calories. Likewise with the calories burned, watch you do not overestimate the calories burned, ESPECIALLY if you are a person that eats back all their exercise calories.0 -
I try to stick around 1,400 -1,500 calories daily regardless of exercise.
On the weekends I eat a bit more, usually at or just above my sedentary TDEE (~1,800-2,000)0
