When will it budge???

Since I graduated Nursing school and took boards in May I have been watching what I eat and exercising more.

I have noticed many positives. My body is taking on a new shape, more hourglass and less apple; My clothes fit better, I feel better mentally and physically, skin and hair are healthier, and people are noticing a change in my appearance.

I know I should throw out the scale; but last time I did, I went out and bought a new one. I have slowly lost, but since May I have hung around the same numbers... weighing in more today than I did three weeks ago. Will it eventually kick in and start dropping?? If anyone else has done this, when did you notice it happened?

I am curious if I should be changing things up, maybe adding more cardio? Currently, I am doing JM 30 DS, but I think maybe I could add some walking or even C25k. I realize that I would need to increase my calories, and maybe I am eatting too few now. My problem is, even when I was "eatting fat", I wasn't eatting a lot... just eatting little with a lot of calories.

I want to add that I am extremely happy with my current progress, I'm just looking for suggestions to maybe speed things up a tad. Oh, and I have PCOS, and I realize that hampers progress also. I am pretty sure my diary is public, if not I will change that after I hit post :)

Looking at your diary, your sodium levels seem a bit high at times, chances are the "added" weight is simply water weight. However, if you continue this way, the scale will continue to be your worst enemy. Watch your sodium, keep it at 2,000 per day if you can and you will see things start to change. My other suggestion might be to incorporate a bit more protein in exhange for less carbohydrates. My lowering your carbs just a bit, it will trigger your body to use its natural body fat stores for energy which will also speed up the process somewhat. No guratantees as everyones body reacts differently but give it a try and see what works for you. Sometimes its not about more workouts, just looking for small mistakes in nutrition. Hope this helps!
