    Nothing....just bought the car!

    And I am confused as to what jumper cables have to do with snow?

    easy connection:

    snow = cold
    cold = car won't start
    car won't start = jumper cables.

    Now, leave that poor girl alone..........................didn't she say she was from the south?

    I have never had that happen. And I live in the mountains where it frequently gets below freezing, with lots of snow, in the winter. I have, however, drained a car battery too many times by leaving the dome light on, leaving the stereo and dome light on, etc.

    It's never cold enough for the battery to freeze and even if it did, the jumpers wouldnt thaw it and you wouldn't be alive to try. I'm from the South and that's not an indicator of lower intelligence.

    Heavy balls......seriously

    I have my shot put

    Two hammers

    At least 6 discuses

    And my throw shoes.

    A fellow thrower!

    I've got an 18 lb shot put, my hammer spikes, 28 lb throwing weight, folding chair and tent (for sitting between events). And on competition weekends, my sheaf fork.

    Do you Scottish games?

    I'd check your battery life.
    A fully charged battery takes something like -60 to freeze.
    A older battery that has converted most of the sulfuric acid to water will freeze faster. It's still like something crazy cold like -30 Hence the reason why you need to replace batteries every few years on the average car or more often when you live in colder states.

    wow...................you guys are WAY too serious about this.

    And kind of snarky........................

    I know what cold is like. I know what battery life is about. I've lived in Northern MN for most of my life, and have had just about every COLD WEATHER RELATED car incident a person can imagine. And yes, it's been -60 here.........

    So, when your car won't start, YES, it could be the battery is low............and YES, a jump-start will help that.

    Now, can we move on from this?
