Built like a quarterback ,,,,helppp

I have really broad shoulders and my legs are fairly small does anyone know of any good excercises to do so my shoulders wont be so broad?? Im scared weights will make me bulk up

    Your asking the wrong question. You can't change your genetics/bone structure.

    You should be asking how to build your legs/etc up to be more balanced with your shoulders.

    Hmmm I dont want my legs bigger just my upper body smaller I know i can not change my bone structure but surely there is some type of excercise to tone down my shoulders or should i say lose weight in my shoulder area

    Ahhh! Now I understand what you are asking for.

    There is no spot reducing. Fat will decrease from all areas as you lose weight. Everyone has an area that tends to be the first place they start storing it. Consequently it also tends to be the last place to really fade.

    For some women, it is the hips/thighs/butt area. For others the arms/shoulders/back.

    As I guy, I landed in the gut group.

    So what to do about it. Eat smart and exercise.
    1. Set reasonable goals. 1 to 2 pounds a week is plenty. Net your recommended calories.
    2. Track all food and beverage consumption.
    3. Log your exercise and eat back your exercise calories. See point 1.
    4. Do both cardio (you burn calories while doing it) and strength training (you burn the calories primarily after you do it and it helps you retain muscle), but on separate days so you do each well.
    5. Be both patient and persistent. It isn't a race, it's a way of life.

    Thanks for the information. I just get frustrated I just have to be patient i guess :)
