What's a good beginner's program for those who want to start strength training?

I never used a program. I just started with the basic free weight exercises and focused on form for a bit and then upped my weights. Let me know if you want more information on what I did. But i'll say these are the exercises I do:
squat
deadlift
bench press
overhead press/military press/ or clean and press
row
chin ups
hanging leg raises (and twist to slam those obliques!)
I will also do some crunches.
I've noticed my booty had gotten fuller (no more flat bum!) and my stomach is much stronger. My BF% has gone down by 5% since I started lifting!!!! I can see some of my stomach muscles....0 -

This is the gold standard.
StrongLifts 5x5 is also good, and with a slightly easier barrier to entry (all info is on the website; you don't have to buy a book).0
