I think we all have one. Mine is what jump started my weight loss. Two years ago I lost 50lbs by crash dieting, but then I gained it all back and learned a hard lesson that weight loss is a slow, steady marathon, not a race. Anyway, my boyfriend and I got Old Time photos done, and I dressed up in 1920's flapper garb. When I saw the photo, I was absolutely shocked at how heavy my legs had gotten. I had the photos retaken multiple times, assuming I was just positioned poorly. I was then I was able to actually look at myself and come to terms with my weight. I've lost about 23lbs so far since this picture was taken, and I'm on my way from 250lbs to 150lbs.

    For me is was this "before" bathing suit photo. It was at my daughter's 2nd birthday pool party. I had to face the fact that 2 years later is NOT still baby weight. This is March 2011. Since then I've lost about 25 lbs and have another 22 to lose to get to my goal weight. After that...we'll see!
