Changing intake. Opinions?

I'm changing my nutritional intake from the generic one MFP setup to a lower carb one.
New values are going to be: 30% Carbs, 35% Protein, and 35% Fat
I was hoping that with my PCOS eating less carbs might be helpful, since it seems to work for some other people with it.
How long do you think it will take (or should I give it) to see any results? Any other opinions?

I did likewise.
MFP has the prevailing USDA approved macro standard which is safe for them and healthy for us.
I needed more protein and less carbs. And that works for me.

I have mine set at 30% carb 30% protein and 40% fat. This seems to keep my blood sugars more stable and I am less hungry. Also, my carbs are coming from many veggies, very few processed foods. Proteins are lean and fats are monounsaturated.0
