Had such a beautiful day today, if your not from Illawarra / Wollongong, NSW Australia, you have probably never been to Nan Tien Temple, it is a buddist place of study and worship, gorgeous place, I am not a buddist, how ever I have never felt so relaxed in a place before! other than trying to rangle in the crying 2 year old and keep the 1 year old happy.
Well I went there and spent 15 mins doing Tai Chi, 15 mins doing meditation, had a guided tour, lunch (rice and some vegetable stuff?), origami and visited the shrines, we were also suppose to go do calligraphy (ancient chinese writting), drum playing, visit the museum and a have a walk through the beautiful gardens but unfortunatley the 2 year old was in a mood and I was unable to stay for the whole thing, ending up leaving early :(
I honestly had such a fantastic day and wish I could have wound down and enjoyed it a bit more than what I did :( thinking might go again minus the kids so I can chill out and really relax, I think winding down with that would have been great way to set my mind and be ready to continue tackling this weight loss.
If you need a day to just chill out and get your mind and body relaxed, releasing some stress, I totally recommend looking for something similar near by you and take a few hours to retreat :smile:
