Diary settings

Can someone help me figure out where I need to set the diary settings on here? I just don't want to waste my time with setting them at a certain place and nothing happening like this week. How do you know which activity level to pick??? Is there a really good site somewhere that helps you figure out your calories? Sorry if this is lame and trivial for some but I really just want to set my calories at the right place! I'm a stay at home mom, 159 lbs, 5'6"--goal is 140. I workout 5 days a week for 30-40 minutes a day---usually run or on the elliptical. I am by no means sitting on the couch eating bon bons all day--I have two boys who keep me busy.

    You base your activity level on what you do doing the day, like for work.

    For example, I work at a desk all day, so I chose the lowest activity level that says "desk job", or something like that. I can't decide on a level for you, because I don't actually know how active you are. Use your best guesstimate!
