People really should wise up and stop pandering to the doomstayers. and Stop reporting nonsense before checking out if it's true or not
This is FB backpeddaling. I wonder if this affects photos and content they already had.

If you think about it...ANYBODY can copy and paste/save any picture uploaded to ANY site as long as they have acces to your pictures...so in reality it's not just FB b/c ANYBODY out there that can view your picture can choose to do whatever they please with them.

    Yep, very true!

You can all mock me as much as you like, water off a ducks back. On a personal level I won't be posting to facebook but thats my choice and I'm not pushing others to do the same. I just wanted your thoughts and I got them. It actually seems there are mixed views on this. I for one am not prepared to risk losing my pictures or to have them subject to a more public viewing than I am comfortable with.
Oh and Bronx... where do I apply for that job?

My theory is this I don't post anything on the internet that I don't want the world to see or read.

It isn't even a matter of that. I've taken some really beautiful photos over the years and had it in the back of my mind to maybe try and sell them someday. Or even if I never do, I don't want someone else making money off of my work.

If you put photos on Facebook, without a copyright notice then yes, they can and others can use them. If you have a copyright notice anywhere on your Facebook, then no, they can't use them. I am photographer and have my own registered copyright so I have this notice on my personal and Fan Page.

Did you know that every time you harvest a crop on Farmville, a child in New Zealand gets a set of leg braces? True story. I saw it on my news feed.
