Everyday I start out the day by doing 30 minutes on the elliptical...Well Thursday I decided that I was going to start using the weighted balls I bought from Walmart a while back. It came with a DVD and I did about 12 minutes of it...(I'm working up to doing the whole thing 3 times a week)..Anyways..its pretty much like circuit training..You work your upper body, legs, abs..and it also tests your balance at times...Anyways....I am in pain:(.....Around my knees it really hurts...Not the knee itself but around them......I just took tylenol...Any other tips??....do you think it would be safe to do it tomorrow or take another day off???:grumble:

It can't hurt to take another day off and let yourself heal. Maybe just do some stretching. Whenever I have knee pain, I use ice. It brings down the swelling and, in turn, helps relieve the pain. I also ice my hip after long bike rides. I have bursitis and I try not to rely on pain relieving medications. Hope that helps!! :drinker:0

Sounds like you need a day off. Or, if not, take it reeeeeeally easy.0

First, love the profile pic--soo cute!
As for the pain, sounds like your pushing too hard, your body doesn't like a certain movement, or you did something in bad form. So give yourself a couple days off then when u do the video again focus on proper body form & alignment & listen to your body. There may just be 1 exercise that's too much for you to handle just yet. If that's the case, fast forward through that exercise until you feel strong enough to do it. Doing an exercise, especially strength training w/bad form usually leads to injuries rather than increased strength0
