another delicious frozen treat-- this time, watermelon!

Inspired by the post on banana "ice cream" I thought I'd share this recipe for a watermelon "frosty":
http://kblog.lunchboxbunch.com/2011/05/watermelon-frosty-or-margarita.html
2.5 cups watermelon, diced and frozen
1 fresh banana
1-2 Tablespoons lime juice or lemon juice
0.5 cups water (use more or less to get your desired consistency-- more water will result in a more "margarita" like consistency, less will be more like a sorbet you eat with a spoon)
Optional: booze! (adjust water levels accordingly), honey or other sweetener, fresh basil, fresh mint, or fresh rosemary.
Dice the watermelon and remove black seeds (or buy seedless!), then spread the cubes out on a baking sheet and freeze them for at least 1 hour (after an hour or two you can dump the cubes in a freezer bag or ziplock bag and store the watermelon in the freezer for future yumminess).
Add all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Consume and enjoy.
You can add some sweetener if it's not sweet enough for you as is, although I find it's plenty sweet with just the fruit. Throwing in some fresh herbs adds a really delightful dimension-- I've used some fresh basil and it was really tasty; next time I'm going to try rosemary. I've also made these into "daiquiris" by adding rum (pineapple Malibu is super tasty).
Makes 2 servings, approximately 100-120 cals (depending on banana size) without alcohol or sweetener per serving.
