Can anyone suggest a protein bar we can get in Canada that doesn't taste like you are eating pure sugar?

I normally don't eat protein bars, but since I have just started a boot camp that kills me each week, I figured it would be an easy way to help me get through the day after the boot camp.

Any suggestions?

Most protein bars are nothing more than expensive candy bars.

what i take are kind of sweet but I know the Clif Bar company makes some very good energy bars bars and trail mix bars, they make a buliders bar with I believe 20 grams of protein and are around 270 calories. I know we have them at walwart where I live , maybe you have walmarts there? or here is the site ( I HAVE YET TO TRY ONE BUT I PLAN ON TRYING THEM SOON, I LIVE ON THERE ENERGY BARS, THEY ARE THE PERFECT SNACK FOR ME)

I really like Cliff Bars. They are sweet but not too sweet. One bar that I love (it is pretty sweet, though) are Power Bar's Triple Energy. I ate one of those before an 8 mile run last week and did it in 1 hour 35 minutes. You need to find what foods work best for you before your work out.

I completely agree, however after you burn 1000 calories in an hour, you need something quick and easy with extra protein to give you that boost of energy.
