How do I get started and never stop?
I am one to always get all pumped up and go get'em and than poof before I know it I have given up. I give up because Im away from home one weekend, or its lets get together for drinks, myself or family member gets sick, I run out of healthy food I want to eat..Im inpatient, I want to see results NOW and if I step on the scale after 2 weeks and nothing than I say why bother....
Pretty much anything will happen and I will turn it into an excuse not a reason.
I know I have to get it out of my head and just do it but how....
I don't know how to start, I want to eat healthy but I would love to prep it for all week every meal ( to a point) so I can grab and go. I never work the same shift at work so its hard to know were I will be at any given time.
Exercise I know its great and I have done it in the past and than got bored with what I was doing. I would love to go to the gym but a hour drive to get there and a hour drive to get back, I just don't see how that will happen.
I have tried to get my few friends involved but they are "too" busy and Im a slacker I can not force myself to do anything.
Im looking for suggestions please. On cooking tips work out tips ways to stay motivational and not stop..

Hello, forgive me as I am new to this and just searching around to see what dilemmas others are facing. I agree with what you about starting out strong then either getting bored or losing that drive. Believe me that's my biggest problem. It's easy to give up and not do it at all and just push it off till next week or next month. My driving force is the way I feel after losing just a few pounds. I enjoy people telling me that I've lost weight, or my belt fitting without being to tight. Right now I feel like I've reached a point where I don't know what to eat anymore, the food is starting to get boring to me. I need more healthy alternatives. I know everyone has their own reason for getting in shape and losing weight. I think you need to find one reason and stick to it and work like hell for it. It seems like you live pretty far from a gym so I assume your living in a rural setting. I suggest you go on you tube and find different exercises you can perform on your own with little to no equipment needed. I bought a P90 video once that was 30 mins of a pretty intense workout. I highly recommend it. Not P90X but P90, it's made by the same company but as I like refer to it as the averages persons workout. P90X and Insanity videos are for those who are in shape and want to get into great shape. Also running even if it's 20 mins a days is a great way to help shed calories. I wish you the best on your journey. Like I said only you can find what motivates you. Make it a mission to accomplish it then set another. Don't give up. Remember if it was easy everyone would do it.0
