So I started my journey in January. I lost weight very fast and went from 225 to 180 in a matter of a few months. Well I am an Army wife and my husband came home in April. That was a struggle to eat healthy. Then we just went back to the United States for 3 weeks in June and I gained 9 lbs back. Since coming back to Germany I have also gained 3 lbs. Tomorrow I am going to get my but back in gear. It is not the excercising cause I am doing 5 days of 45 min cardio and 3 days of weight training. It is just that I am eating far to many calories and I know it. So I am going to be looking for a group to join. Are there any groups to get fit before Thanksgiving? My goal is November 21st so that it close. Thank you all for your support!

I think we all fall off the wagon off and on, so you're definitely NOT alone in that!
I'm sure you'll find a group around here somewhere. But, even if you don't, you know that with MFP's tools, exercise, and all the wonderfully supportive members, you CAN lose the rest of the weight that you want to!

Thank you! It is hearing people like you and knowing that I can do this! I have done it in the past and can do it again. There are road blocks in the journey of life and losing weight is no different.

I fall off the wagon all the time- so frequently, in fact, that I've stopped calling it that, and just accept it as part of this journey.

How long did it take you to go from 225lb to 180lbs?

Well January 1st I was 220 and on April 14th I was 185. The last 5 lbs from 185-180 took me a little longer cause my husband had gotten home and I yoyo'd a lot back and forth. I officially was was 180 the first time on May 2. Then we went on leave on June18 weighing 180.8 and came back on July 13th weighing 188.4. Since coming back I have ballooned back up to 192. I have made the worst food choices possible. So my goal is to be at 165 by November 21. That is the night of our Military ball, then my birthday is the day after and then Thanksgiving! I want to look hot on my Christmas cards this year. How about you how long have you been at it. We started around the same weight I see.
