Another Stupid Question About Popcorn

Okay. I purchased a pack of Pop-tastic microwaveable sweet and salted popcorn, on the promise that 100g of the popcorn contained 260 calories. Each little pack is 85g each, unpopped.

So, am I to understand that, post-poppage, a full bag is only 221 calories? Does the nutritional info/weight of popcorn change drastically once it's been popped? I always figured that popcorn kernels lost a tiny bit of weight due to moisture etc, but 221 calories seems a bit too good to be true.

The database tells me that similar products by the same brand (salted only) are over 400 calories for the same amount. So either the database is wrong (entirely possible), the packaging is wrong, or I'm being a dumbass and missing something.

To clarify, there is no 'unpopped' calories and 'popped' calorie information, just the one kcal per 100g.
