Was just wondering if anyone had any good literature on foods that can help encourage weight loss. Not even sure...do they exist or is it all about moderation?

Honestly I don't buy into the fact that certain foods will promote weight loss.

Eating a well balanced diet that is fully of nutrient dense foods i.e. Fruits and vegetables, whole grains, protein will go a long way in helping you stay on track with your goals and lose weight.

I am of the school of IIFYM (if it fits your macros) so as long as I stay within my 40/30/30 split (40% of calories coming from carbs, 30% from protein and 30% from fat) I eat what I want and stay within my calorie limit for the day.

    Hope this helps!

    Yes, it's a book.

Eat Right for Your Type [Book] by Peter D'Adamo, Catherine Whitney in Books
    G.P. Putnam's Sons (1996) - Hardback - 392 pages - ISBN 039914255X

Interesting and informative. I don't stick to it exclusively but I try to stay in the beneficial list as much as possible.
Let me know what you think.
