My thoughts at the Gym...

Just a little longer... Push for longer, harder, faster...

My panting and grunting will soon be replaced with gasps of joy when I get on the scale next week
That smell of sweat is intoxicating to me, because I know fat is melting off to expose the temple that is underneath

The pain I am feeling all over my body will just be a memory when my size 12 jeans will be too big for me
I shall celebrate every little drop of sweat, because to me, every drop is as valuable as gold

I have not been very happy with the girl I see in the mirror, but one day, she will be my hero!
I am a warrior, who has lost many battles with weight, but now I am here to with the war!!

I don't go to the gym....

But my thoughts are similar to Pakitalian's when I am at boot camp or at the park running.

There's a hero living in me. I will win the war because I am not the type to just lay down and die.

I try to focus on my form whatever I am doing and then just read my nook (if on elliptical, treadmill) or listen to music while I zone out. I usually do cardio for 60 min at about 20 min left I literally have to start talking myself into finishing: get through the next 5 minutes, then the next, etc. I tell myself I have nothing better to do, that I'll be very proud of myself when I'm done.

I hate strength but coounting the reps and then counting off my rest time helps me stay focused and get it done.
