Looking for Supportive friends!

Hi All! I've been a part of MPF for months now, but looking for some more friends!
If anyone is from Southern FL (my hometown) or the NYC area (my current home) I'd really like to be friends!
I'm currently on a path to become stronger and thinner. In my college days I was the "tiny, petite" girl. Once I hit my mid-twenties, the weight caught up with me...fast. I probably gained 20 pounds in 2 years. Last October I got my body fat measured for the first time. When I was read the results I cried my eyes out. I was 5'3" 128 pounds and my body fat % was 36%. I immediately went to my local gym and signed up with a personal trainer. Since then I've lost 12% of my body fat and have become stronger then I've ever been. In fact, I dead lifted 140 pounds yesterday!
For the month of June my trainer put me up to a challenge to lose 12 pounds in one month. I cheat on the weekend and it was beginning to sabotage my results. This diet means calories around 1250/day, no bread, potatoes, pasta or alcohol at at, plus working out 6 days a week. I've stuck with it for about 15 days now, we'll see how well I do soon! Two more inches around my waist to go!
I need some more motivative friends to cheer me on, and I will do the same for you! Tell me your story

I was born in NY, lived in S. FL for 36 years and now in GA. Same type of thing. Wanted to desperately lose weight.
