MFP given me MORE calorie allowance! feels odd!

Pointless thread really! I just realised i hadn't updated my profile and goals etc for a while. I changed my preferred loss to 1lb a week instead of 1and a half lb and put in a new goal weight. i also changed to less exercise as i am not quite managing as much as i used to. Then it gave me MORE calories to eat! It feels so strange as I've been on 1200 for so long and lost 26lb.
I hope its right!

    You went from 1.5 a week to 1 a week, of course it gave you a higher goal! You need less of a deficit to lose a little slower.
    MFP doesn't factor in exercise calories until you log them- you can change those goals over and over, but it won't change anything. That's why you earn exercise calories.

    I know it just feels weird being able to eat more! I thought it might be more sensible to go to 1lb a week as i am getting closwrbti my goal weight.
