Sugared out... from fruit

Ok, I'm looking for some good snacks for work. I'm not a huge fan of fruit. I've been trying to do better, but I just don't like sugar--at all. I don't even drink juice. I eat an apple here and there, and I'm a big fan of watermelon. However, I feel like I just get so sick of all the sweetness. Yes, I'm a salt-lover.
What are some good snacks that I can have at work/home that are not too high in salt but are definitely not sweet.
P.S. ...besides nuts. I eat those a decent amount.
[I should also mention that I'm mostly dairy-free (allergies to some dairy and not others)]

ahhh i love fruit.. haha. some snacks i'd eat are
veggies+hummus (roasted red pepper hummus is yummmmyyyy)
hard boiled eggs
celery+nut butter
greek yogurt with crystal light (takes away the sour cream taste, so deelish)
cottage cheese
rice cake w/ nut butter
cheestrings0 -
ditto to the above...
Have you tried any savory spiced dry fruit?
That would cut the sweet a bit, just an option.0 -
I feel the same as you. I second the cheese, hummus, and peanut butter options.
I also munch on Goldfish Crackers once in awhile just for the pure saltiness. They're not good for you, but they aren't that terrible.0 -
Some of my work snacks (well I do a lot of yogurt and granola bars too, but other ideas) - cottage cheese, celery with laughing cow cheese wedges or PB (or plain!), hummus and veggies, low sodium pretzels, 100 calorie bags of popcorn, cup of miso soup, avocado or veggie sushi, hardboiled or deviled eggs.0
-
Breakstones 30% lower sodium cottage cheese with sunflower seeds is great, and any kind of veggies with some low cal dip Good luck on your healthy journey!0
-
my go to snacks as of late
100 calorie packs of guacamole (wholly Guac or Walmart House brand) with baby carrots or red pepper strips
handful of nuts (but you said you already do that)
pork rinds - the big fluffy kind - I never in a million years thought I would ever eat a pork rind, but I tried some by Carolina Country Snacks - sooo good...one serving is 10 pieces but I can easily satisfy my crunch craving with 4-5 pieces
I have about a serving of fruit a day (unless we have watermelon in the house...love, love, love some good watermelon...and i sprinkle some salt on mine...drives my husband nuts, but i think it enhances the flavor a bit) - right now we have cheeries since they are so cheap...but my go to for fruit are either berries (blue or black, depending on what is available) or a SMALL apple with some almond butter.0 -

They make whole grain Goldfish0 -

Yes! I love pork rinds. My mom did atkins years and years ago, and she ate pork rinds when she wanted chips - she ended up hating them, but I love them.
Also beef jerky. I love jerky. Just make sure you get one that's lower in sodium.0 -
I am a sugar addict...so I am jealous of you I love the Kellog Special K cracker chips...the sea salt ones are the best! You can have 30 of them in one serving. I dip them into a wedge of laughing cow cheese and they are yummy...0
