basic info on this injury:
acromioclavicular joint separation grade 3 An acromioclavicular joint separation, or AC separation, is a very frequent injury among physically active people. In this injury the clavicle (collar bone) separates from the scapula (shoulder blade). It is commonly caused by a fall directly on the "point" of the shoulder or a direct blow received in a contact sport. Football players and cyclists who fall over the handlebars are often subject to AC separations
ok so like I think 3 years ago I had this happen to me in a motorcycle accident. I started working out (strength training, cardio, and circuit training) 3 weeks ago. I was wondering if anyone else on here has this injury and has been working out and had any pointers or warnings on which exercises to maybe stay away from or limit use because of this type of injury. so far I have been feeling pretty good up till 2 days ago. A lot of the control muscles in my right (injured) shoulder are sore but I figure thats because they are compasating for the lack of the Clavicle not being attached in the shoulder. I am mostly doing toning and weight loss weight amounts. So no real heavy upper body weights.

I have the same question. I guess this site is about food and diet more than injuries. I wonder how the workouts went for him?0
