Diabetic breakfast choices

I'm diabetic and really having a tough time with breakfast choices. My number seems to be the highest in the morning so I really have to watch the amount of sugar that I eat for breakfast. Certain foods seem to trigger my sugar so for example I can eat a serving size of rice krispies but I have to watch drinking milk even skim because the milk makes my number go up. I also have high cholesterol and triglycerides so I have to watch eating bacon, eggs etc... even though those food choices give me the lowest numbers. Any suggestion would be much appreciated!!
