Can the scale move just a little????

Ok...I have made obvious progress with weight loss. Watching what I eat and going to the gym every day. My clothes are now falling off which is a great indication..BUT...you think that that darn scale would just budge a little????? Im not asking for alot am I??:ohwell: I know the whole "Muscle weighs more than fat." ...blah blah....all I want is for the scale to be nice. Seeing the numbers go down would make me feel so much better!!!!

  • Okay, I hear you loud and clear on this. I was just grousing about this very thing recently. In fact my scale did budge, but in the wrong direction...it said a two pound weight GAIN :angry:

    So I confess I'm a scale addict and with that thought in mind (after weighing myself this morning) I'm going to take one month off and not weigh myself. Yes, I'll have my handy dandy tape measure to show me my positive results. I'll continue to track my food and exercises. So I'm telling you all this to help hold me accountable. :noway:

    Anyone want to join me??? please......

    BTW, Nikii14 -- great job on the clothes falling off. That says a lot right there!

    I need to get a measuring tape myself...that will probably make me feel as good as the scale would.
  • Just remember that the more muscle you have, the more fat your body will burn. I recently read this book about our body being like a furnace. Muscle made the flames burn more......fat melted away.

    You are doing great!! I never develop muscle, because of that, I lose weight....probably alot of muscle, get weak and tired, my skin hangs, and I look fatter than before!! I'm trying to change that this time, but you are already doing so well!!!
