    Hi Cathy

You're among friends here. I'm also a diabetic and fighting the weight. The good news is taking even a little weight off can do great things for your diabetes. I've lost 77 pounds, gained some back, lost that again, and am basically non-diabetic at this point, as long as I stick to my diet. I've been off all the diabetes medication for a couple of years now.

You can do do it. Your weight loss will kill two birds with one stone, as they say. It sounds like you're setting up some good exercise habits. Once you get your diet under control I think you'll do great.

Add me if you like. I am working hard to keep diabetes at bay. I come from a long line of diabetics and won't to keep it away from me as long as possible. I'm here for you!
