Is it the length or the time?

So I have two questions. I am trying to get the most bang for my workout here and my main focus is to cut fat and inches while building strenght (mainly wanting those inches gone) :). I am doing bootcamp 3 times a week to give me my strength training but am wanting some input on my cardio aspect. I do cardio 3 times a week switching between the bike, elliptical and running. If I really want to be losing fat (while staying in my calorie limits and eating healthy foods) Should I be keeping my heart rate in the Fat burning zone or will I get the same effect being in the endurance training zone? Also should I be training at a lower intensity for longer, or a higher intensity for a shorter period of time?
Thank you for all you insight!

I seem to recall reading that the 'fat burning zone' is kind of a myth ... either way, the important part is to just get out there and move your body so that you maintain a moderate calorie deficit.
