How do you use your calories?

okay I am new here but I have a question. How are you guys eating? Are you eating healthy everyday or just eating whatever as long as you stay within your allowance? Just curious. I know healthy is better but I need some cheat days but i also want some results.

    When I first started it was just about staying within my daily goal, so I was eating what I normally eat, just smaller amounts.

    Over the years I've slowly changed my eating habits so I eat more healthy and more "clean" foods. Though I still have a long way to go be eating totally clean!

    I find by eating healthy my calories go a lot farther and I'm never hungry.

    You don't have to eat healthy all the time just know if you waste calories on a burger you may go to bed hungry. We all need to splurge now and then also. If you totally avoid the foods you like you are more likely to binge if given the opportunity.

    Control portions. If you need a burger get a cheese burger instead of a Big Mac etc.

    hi i am fairly new also (25 days) on MFP.. and to tell you the truth it is about protion control... as soon as i know i ate tooo much i get the guilty feeling and think "if i wouldve have just ate 1 " ...i am learning day by day ..

    hi ive only been doing this 2 weeks myself and ive lost 2 pound i eat to the allowance but sometimes i go over it so i exercise to gain some back , if i dont eat enough it tells to eat more as the cals given is to lose weight not maintain ,,,, ive been eating what ive always eaten prob just less of it and not snacking as much , i have found its ok as well u just need foods that fill you up choc does not fill you up or crisps or biscuits , fruit does , water does ... i have found a tea called red bush no sugar or milk and im not hungry at all weird really i drink green tea as well but this red tea curbs the appetitie some how xx:drinker:

    I eat what ever I like as long as its within the calories limits. I don't want to feel restricted, then binge on sweets.
