Caloric Sweet Spot

Hey everybody,
I was just trying to figure out what my "caloric sweet spot" would be, or even how to figure out yours.
Right now Myfitnesspal has me on a 2000 calories a day diet (I'm 6'3", 250 atm). Monday - Thursday I have a pretty regular exercise schedule of about 700 calories burnt a day. So, that would mean on those days 2700 calories is acceptable. 2700 is a lot if you eat right. I'm usually at about 1700-1800 a day. Just wondering if anyone had any insight. 1200 or so calories is doable (some days) but, I want to do it right. Where should I aim?

For someone your weight 2750 would be a good goal for weight maintenance.
At 1700 cals a day with 700 burn you should be losing around 3-4 pounds a week. Which is a bit on the high side (typically you want to aim for 1-2). which is why MFP has you on a 2000 cal day. 1200 would be way too few and would actually slow your progress down, and you would end up burning muscle instead of fat.0 -
